What is the HMC blue coating?

The coating type is HMC, and color is blue. HMC blue coating lens is always accompany with 1.56 blue cut function, it’s most common lens which are hot selling in past 10 years till now.

Lens with blue cut and color, there’s no a strictly demand at the lens coating machine, many small manufacturer can produces it very well.

What is the SHMC blue coating?

The coating type is SHMC, and color is blue. It’s an upgrade coating of HMC blue coating, just like Zeiss, Essilor and Hoya lenses, theirs standard coating is always SHMC type.

Which means more resistant, stronger and durable performance compare to regular HMC coating. There’s a demand at lens coating machine also, it can be produced by vacuum coating machine only.

What is the SHMC X6 coating?

It’s an upgrade compare to previous SHMC blue coating and HMC blue coating, its coating type is SHMC and coating color is X6 (Low reflection blue)

As we know, blue cut lens will decrease transmittance of lenses and bring lenses yellowish color usually, the HMC & SHMC blue coating are always bring more heavy decreasing at lenses transmittance. (It means this coating is bringing lenses more yellowish).

SHMC X6 is transparent base color compare to HMC / SHMC blue coating, and its blue reflection is more slight which will not have strong reflection when a consumer wearing this lens to do any outdoor activities.

Further more, nowadays clients are liking lenses more transparent, the SHMC X6 was born and becoming more and more popular and wide use constantly.
